: : : I just rec'd a 12 pc set w/many serving pieces, but I am having trouble identifying the pattern. The pieces also have a little red or yellow "x" on the back -- does this mean they are "seconds"? I have not been able to locate any information on this. From my reading appears was made between 1881-1900 - pattern has blue "daisy" type flowers w/pink centers & brown leaves & stems. Any help would be appreciated.
: : I too have a pattern like that, been trying to find out what the name of the pattern is, do you have any idea? Yes, it was made between 1891-1900. I have same initials on back of mine, but no little x's
I have a porcelain plate with this back mark. This is the link I used to find out who it was and what to look for. It also gives you the year that it was made. So sit down if you have the real thing or you might fall off your chair, like I almost did! I have however gotten gotten rid of my piece. Hope this helps.
