I attended an auction Sunday and there were five or six 12 place settings for Haviland china up for bidding. One pattern was "presidential", as I recall. That set went for $62.00 per place setting. Another went for $27.50 per setting (I do not recall the pattern.) It sounds "too good to be true" and probably is. I am wondering.......are there "copies" which can pass for Haviland china, how do you know it too be trus Haviland china and is this cost a great buy or is it "too good to be true?
Thank you for your input to my question and assisting my knowledge of Haviland china!
