My husband bought me a Haviland portrait platter from an antique store about 12 years ago because the woman on the platter looked like me. I broke it today and am interested in replacing it, if possible. The marking on the back is HaC with a small "o" next to the upper half of the "C". The white platter or round large plate has a handpainted portrait of a woman's head & shoulders, 3/4 view. She has long, wavy hair and is wearing a beaded necklace. I am devastated - sentimental value and all that! I have a picture of it whole if that would help. The antique dealer told him that the "model" for the platter was the main character in "Les Miserable". HELP!
