If it is limoges, then it would be marked with the word limoges somewhere on it. Otherwise, it is not.
: Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me out. I was left a china set by my grandmother when she passed away. I took a saucer into an antique shop and was told it "looks to be limoge". I've searched a few sites and can't find anything about a watermark or what would tell me if the set is truly Limoge. I know nothing about china and read there are a lot of "fakes" floating around but the pieces I have sure look like the pics I've seen online. How can I be sure? Any help would be appreciated.
: Thanks in advance.
