Thanks for the reply. The china does have a bird pattern... appears to be parrots. I was told the china dated back to the 1920s so the blank mark date and the ad you refer to appear to confirm that. Why would Haviland have a pattern name that refers to different patterns? Is this unusual for china manufacturers?
As I mentioned we tried to discover the pattern name and date through a fairly thorough search on the internet. Does the lack of information for this pattern mean we will have difficulty getting additional pieces or replacements?
