My late mother treasured an incomplete set of china that she called "haviland." The mark on the bottom of the pieces reads:
CFH those initials are underscored. Below are the initials GDM. The word "France" is below stamped in a curve. Any ideas from the experts what this is?
The china itself is lovely, with pale pink and pale blue flowers. There are the remenants of gold trim. The china itself has a swirl to it, almost in pleats.
Mother bought this at auction at Butterworth & Butterworth's in San Francisco approximately 30 years ago.
